You can batch make these regularly and freeze them to preserve nutrients and it prevents fermentation (an increase in natural sugars). Then keep them in the freezer until you need them. Just pop one in a cup of hot water when needed to quick defost. (Tip: Drink while still ice cold to take the edge of the heat!)
I make these flu shots regularly and last year I was making them up for friends and it went a bit crazy and have since we made over 1500 of them. I wanted to encourage people to become more aware of their amazing natural immunity and how nature provides us so many tools to heal ourselves naturally. We need to learn to listen to our bodies better.
This is my simple all-natural recipe for supporting your natural immune system.
I like to think of them as mini sunshine shots! – and we all need a shot of that daily, especially in the winter.
Initially, I just wanted to share the fab recipe but somehow we seemed to have a bit of a production line going on and at the moment we don’t have time to make them for all. So here is everything you need to do it yourself. Please feel free to share.

My recipe is all made using my favourite cold pressed juicer (available here on Amazon) and made from Fresh Ginger, Garlic, Turmeric (dried if you cannot get fresh), Raw Manuka honey (I use Steens – available in Waitrose), Lemon, Orange and Dried Cayenne pepper.

ALL NATURAL – COLD PRESSED IMMUNITY SHOTS RECIPE
MAY HELP WITH BROCHITUS, PLEURISY, SINNUS, HEAD COLDS, VIRUSES, FLU & PNEUMONIA
For adults and maybe brave teens. Take 1 – 3 shots per day or more if needed, take as soon as you are feeling under the weather or as a daily immunity support and for general gut health.
INGREDIENTS
FRESH TURMERIC – health info
2 thumb sized pieces
FRESH GINGER – health info
2 thumb sized pieces
RAW GARLIC – health info
About 3 – 10 + cloves – use what you can handle, Start small and build up if you are a bit sensitive to garlic.
LEMONS
Juice of 3
ORANGES
Juice of 8
RAW MANUKA HONEY – health info
3-4 tbsp + (Adjust to your taste! – I make it sweeter if for children as it masks the garlic)
CAYENNE PEPPER – health info
1-2 tsp + – or use what you can handle.
Method
Wash and scrub the Ginger, Turmeric and peel garlic, lemons and oranges. Pop all this in a cold pressed juicer and add the remaining ingredients into the liquid and stir well and that’s it! Or if you don’t have a juicer you can add some water and blend up and if preferred strain out bits. (I would personally leave it all in tho!)
No heat has been used to make these, they are simply cold pressed. You can make this similar recipe with essential oils and using heat. Google: Barbara O’Neill Flu Bomb. She is the most incredible Naturopath. I personally swear by my recipe. But find what works for you!
Tips;
Cold press the fresh raw garlic the ginger and turmeric first, then by the time you have juicer the rest it willhave pushed through the smell from your juicer. 😉
To defrost in a rush, pop the bottle in a cup of hot water. If freezing, allow space for expansion in the bottle, and screw the lids on once frozen. Although I don’t seem to get break in the freezer when I put the lids fully.
Perfect for those who want to avoid those FLU and colds. They are also great for gut health.
